MEET THE TEAM

 

Ms. Johns is a civil litigator and trial lawyer who practices extensively throughout the state of California. She has tried more than one hundred civil cases to verdict including real estate, business law, insurance, and transactional matters both nationally and internationally.  She also has significant experience with family law matters.  Ms. Johns is fluent in Spanish and trained in German and French.

Ms. Johns volunteers her legal time to military personnel through the American Bar Association and writes regularly for the American Association For Justice. 

Ms. Johns graduated from Occidental College and then from Golden Gate University School of Law, in San Francisco, with Dean’s List and class honors.

Robert Williams

Of -Counsel Attorney 

Mr. Williams currently focuses his practice on the litigation of employment and business disputes in all state and federal courts in California.  However, he has more than thirty years of widely-varied litigation experience courts across the US, including substantial and complex antitrust, securities and construction defect matters, as well as a civil rights defense, construction contract disputes, bankruptcy issues and a variety of real estate matters.

 

Mr. Williams is a graduate of the New York University School of Law and is licensed to practice in New York

Manasseh Lapin

Of Counsel - Texas

Attorney Manasseh Lapin has been providing clients with civil and criminal trial and appellate litigation, as well as non-litigation, legal services since 1999.  He represents clients in the areas of asset protection, business and corporate law, contract law, criminal defense, estate planning and probate and trust administration, family and domestic relations law, immigration law, and real estate law.

Mr. Lapin received his law degree from the Santa Clara University School of Law, where he served as an Editor of the school’s Law Review, and where he received awards for academic excellence.  He received his undergraduate degree, with honors, in Business Administration from the University of La Verne.

Prior to being admitted to practice law, Mr. Lapin worked for more than a decade as a municipal (city) police officer and detective.  Mr. Lapin is also a veteran of the United States military.

Jeremy Alberts

Managing Attorney

Mr. Alberts practices in the areas of general civil, business and real estate law, as well as family law and criminal defense.  He prides himself on providing his clients with a personal connection, an aspect often overlooked at more traditional law firms.

Mr. Alberts is a graduate of the University of North Texas (B.S. in Emergency Administration, 2005).  Thereafter, Mr. Alberts obtained his Juris Doctorate degree from the University of La Verne College of Law in 2009.

Y. John Ibrahim

Attorney

Mr. Ibrahim’s practice focuses on family law and criminal defense.  His family law experience includes litigation in complex divorce matters involving spousal and/or child support, domestic violence and temporary restraining orders, property and debt distribution, move away orders, and all other issues involved in the dissolution of marriage and post judgment amendments. 

Mr. Ibrahim’s criminal practice focuses on the defense of those facing misdemeanor and felony charges. Mr. Ibrahim also handles post-conviction matters including expungements, parole consideration hearings and parole revocation hearings.

Mr. Ibrahim is a graduate of the University of California, Los Angeles (BA Double Major in History and Sociology).  He obtained his Juris Doctorate (2004) from NYU School of Law. 

Christian F. Paul

Attorney - California

Mr. Paul has 25 plus years of legal experience.  He concentrates on civil litigation, including construction, real property matters, business litigation, personal injury cases, enforcement of judgment, select family law and professional negligence cases.  He has also represented clients in bankruptcies, including Bankruptcy Court litigation.


Mr. Paul has served as a judge pro tempore handling settlement conferences in Orange County Superior Court and has served as an arbitrator handling attorney-client fee disputes for the Orange County Bar Association. 

Mr. Paul holds a Juris Doctor degree from the University of San Diego School of Law, a Doctor of Philosophy degree in psychology from the University of California San Diego, and a Bachelor’s degree in psychology summa cum laude from the University of California Santa Barbara.
