Current Scope of Practice

Mr. Ibrahim has practiced law for over 10 years with a focus on criminal defense, domestic matters and civil litigation. Mr. Ibrahim’s approach to the practice of law is meant to minimize the disruption and adverse impact that these issues can sometimes cause in your personal life.

Mr. Ibrahim’s criminal practice specializes on the defense of those facing misdemeanor and felony charges. Mr. Ibrahim also specializes in post-conviction matters including expungements, parole consideration hearings and parole revocation hearings.

Mr. Ibrahim’s practice in domestic matters involve litigation in complex divorce matters involving spousal and/or child support, domestic violence and temporary restraining orders, property and debt distribution, move away orders, and all other issues involved in the dissolution of marriage and post judgment amendments. His practice includes estate planning as often times the two spouses will require a new estate following the divorce.

Having been trained in jurisprudence and mediation at NYU School of Law and the Los Angeles County Bar Association and Dispute Resolution Services, Mr. Ibrahim offers clients the option of resolving rather than litigating disputes between spouses, domestic partners, or significant others. As a trained mediator, he has also been worked on collaborative divorce: a more cost-effective and quicker way to resolve the divorce process through agreement.  This method incorporates both parties directly but in the presence of and with the assistance of their attorneys who commit to settlement rather than litigating each and every aspect of the divorce thereby facilitating a more efficient and painless path to beginning a fresh start and a new life on one’s own.

Mr. Ibrahim makes his home in Orange County, California where he is married with two young girls.  In his free time he loves to travel, ski, attend concerts and practice yoga.

Mr. Ibrahim is admitted to the California Bar (2004).  Member: American Bar Association, Orange County Bar Association, Los Angeles County Bar Association


Mr. Ibrahim is a graduate of the University of California, Los Angeles (BA Double Major in History and Sociology).  He obtained his J.D. (2004) from NYU School of Law. While attending law school Mr. Ibrahim obtained honorable mention in the Universities Moot Court competition and was invited to comment on the Journal of Legislation and Public Policy.  His activities included: Intellectual property & Entertainment law society; International Student Association; NYU Trial advocacy Society; Civil Liberties Union; and NYU West Coast connection.
